Dr. Christine Cress Seminar

 

Dr. Christine Cress a widely known expert on service-learning and civic engagement.  She is the lead author of the Campus Compact  monograph (2010), A Promising Connection:  Increasing College Access and Success through Civic Engagement.  Her article, “Civic Engagement and Student Success:  Leveraging Multiple Degrees of Achievement,” was featured in the October 2012 edition of the AAC&U’s Diversity & Democracy publication. Dr. Cress presented in February of 2013 to Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University and Spokane Falls Community College. The event was funded by AAC&U Bringing Theory to Practice Seminar Grant.
